Art Advisory

About

I work with private clients to develop their taste and build intentional art collections over time. The focus is on cohesion, evolution, and selecting work that suits the client—not popularity.

I specialize in a broad range of contemporary works with a focus on institutional critique.

The Service

I will curate, source, and introduce work that aligns with your taste and fits your budget.

The service will be provided in exchange for a fee, which varies depending on the price of the piece.

(For retainer-based services please email me at advisory@cianstarr.com to enquire)

In her works, Emma Păvăloaia explores spatial and temporal liminal territories, geographies made up of hypnotic landscapes, shrouded in twilight atmospheres, but especially the way in which the human psyche relates to supernatural realities.

Mircea Roman

A graduate of the “Ion Andreescu” Institute of Fine Arts in Cluj-Napoca (1984), Roman established himself in the 1990s on the international art scene, winning the Grand Prize at the Osaka Triennale of Sculpture (1992). His compositions, recognizable through their figurative expressiveness and the force of volumes, maintain a constant tension between fragility and the monumental. His works are included in major public collections, such as the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Bucharest and the Osaka Contemporary Art and Culture Center. He lives and works in Bucharest.
